The concept of making wireless electricity is becoming a reality. Dr. Hall, the Chief Technology Officer at WiTricity has found a way to make this possible. By putting a magnetic field in the air by using an electric coil of electrified wire that generates a magnetic field when power is attached. Dr. Hall says the idea is very safe and in the future be easy to use as WIFI.

Amazon increases price of Prime

On Thursday, Amazon has increased thee prices for prime members. The price of the annual membership will now cost $99 a year, which was originally $79. A student membership will cost $49 annually. Amazon says the price increase is due to an increase of fuel and shipping cost. The company also said that it has increased the benefits of the program by offering free shipping on about 19 million items.

Titan Aerospace's Solara is a solar-powered aerial vehicle designed to cruise for five years at a time. Facebook is reportedly in talks to acquire the company with a view to using the drones as a means of providing internet access to the world's under-served regions. Facebook is talking to Titan Aerospace for the cost of $60 million. Facebook would construct 11,000 of Titan's aerial drones.
