Titan Aerospace's Solara is a solar-powered aerial vehicle designed to cruise for five years at a time. Facebook is reportedly in talks to acquire the company with a view to using the drones as a means of providing internet access to the world's under-served regions. Facebook is talking to Titan Aerospace for the cost of $60 million. Facebook would construct 11,000 of Titan's aerial drones.
